- Four weeks of training and skill transfer
- Lean Six Sigma, the proven methodology which combines Lean and Six Sigma into a single, coordinated initiative
- Tools and techniques to accurately assess Voice of the Customer
- The rationale and process for project identification and selection
- Key Lean Manufacturing principles, including Kaizen and Value Stream Analysis
- Advanced Six Sigma statistical problem-solving tools including hypothesis testing and design of experiments
- Sigma Kaizen methodology and how to use it to reduce Black Belt project time from six months or more – to six weeks or less
- How to lead project teams to rapidly implement high-impact business improvement
- Methods to engage executive management and to ensure effective governance of your Lean Six Sigma initiative
Skills Development Objectives:
- Four, one-week training sessions consisting of three weeks of classroom training and a one-week Sigma Kaizen event at a plant site. The Sigma Kaizen event combines intensive learning with hands-on application of your learned concepts and tools to an actual project. It also allows you to experience the rapid application of your new analytical improvement tools
- There are three to four weeks between the training weeks, during which you will use Lean Six Sigma skills to complete your projects. Projects will be selected with the guidance of one of our Master Black Belt instructors who will mentor you online and by phone as you progress through training.
- Certification is provided upon successful completion of the classroom training and two projects, demonstrating proficiency in applying Black Belt tools.
